so this beautiful indulgence is inspired by little birds cacao and raspberry macaroons…. theyre not identical but they are pretty close… AND in their own right, super delicious.
chuck it all in the food processor, shape them into balls and thats it. easy eh?
this recipe makes approx 13, but once you have made them, just try and make them last more than a couple of days!!!!
they will be a family fave.
3 cups dessicated coconut (i used ceres organics)
3/4 cup cacao powder (i used matakana superfoods)
40g packet fresh as dehydrated raspberry powder
1/2c maple syrup
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp salt
1/4c cacao butter, melted
add all the ingredients into the food processor, except the cacao butter.
give it a blitz to combine.
with the motor running, add the melted cacao butter until it comes together. dont add it all at once – you may not need it all! once the mixture holds together without being too sticky, its ready.
shape into balls and place in fridge til firm. its fine at room temperature once its formed – just keep it in an airtight container,
